Communications Solutions offers you a free
Risk Assessment Trial of the SoundShield system that
will provide you with the acoustic dosimetry data
that you must have for a full workstation risk
assessment. The format would be very simple, take
little of your time and will provide you with an
insight into the noise levels to which your
operators are exposed.
Whether you currently provide any protection or not
the SoundShield
trial will provide you with valuable acoustic
dosimetry analysis that you do not presently have.
Acoustic Shock can be prevented, provably,
with the SoundShield System.
Don't just take our word for it, try it in your
premises, free. Simply call 0844 477 1622 or

IMPORTANT
SAFETY NOTICE
Have you
heard about the GN9120 headset battery recall?
GN Netcom has received reports
of battery failures in certain GN9120 headsets that
were manufactured between January 2005 and September
2008. Short circuits in the batteries can cause
overheating of the headsets and pose a fire hazard.
More than one million units have been sold and less
than fifty incidents have been reported. However, as
product safety is a key priority for GN they have
initiated a replacement programme as a precautionary
measure.
If you are a GN9120 headset
user please click on the link below to check if you
need to replace your battery or by calling 0808
2381498 between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday.

Headset Testing
All headsets used in Europe should comply
with European CE regulations which ensure the safety of their users. Please
check your headsets to confirm that they carry the distinctive 'CE' marking.
If they do not, you may be at risk from acoustic shock, because headsets
from outside of the EU may not be safe to use on a UK telephone exchange.
US exchanges, for example, have built-in safety circuitry to protect agents
on the system, but UK exchanges do not, instead relying on individual
headsets to provide protection against acoustic shock.
This means that it is important for you to
check and ensure that all new headsets comply to European Safety standards,
and routinely test your current headsets to make sure they are functioning
safely.
At Communications Solutions UK we are happy
to test your headsets for you. However, we also sell Headset Testers which
allow you to conduct your own checks, when and where ever you wish.
